I have been following this sweet little girl through her first year and it was such a pleasure doing this session a few weeks ago to celebrate Quinn turning one soon!. She has grown so much this year and is just as sweet as ever. She is so happy and full of life. I loved this session so much. Quinn's mom did an excellent job choosing her outfits and head pieces. I just love her style! I had so many photos I loved I couldn't' share them all on Facebook so I decided to go ahead and make a blog post! I need to do this more often. I take so many photos I love and only get to share about 1% of them with everyone!

Brendan was a dream to photograph. He didn't fuss or even make a peep for most of his session. He also holds the record for most smiles! I captured so many. He must have been having some good dreams :) His big sister was so good. At just three years old she listened so well and was great with her little sibling. She just didn't want to give up those big smiles. I loved this session! I hope you do to!!!

Baby Ishaan came to me a little later than my normal newborns. He had a little trouble right after birth so he came to me about 20 days old. He did wonderfully. Slept through most of the session and woke up at the end for some great wake shots! Loved the teal and deep blue Mom chose for the colors. I also love his dark hair and long eyelashes! Boys always get the good lashes!

This session was very special to me! I have known Elijah's sweet mommy since my oldest was just a baby. She started out watching my children in the child watch at the YMCA nursery. She loved my oldest daughter and always treated her like a princess when I would bring her to the YMCA. Later, when I had my middle daughter I was in need of someone to watch my newest addition overnight while I worked as my parents have moved out of town. She started watching my kids in my home over night for hours at a time while my husband and I worked third shift and then slept half the day. I could always count on her she was the best babysitter or nanny I could have. She even took care of my dogs when we were on vacation. She eventually graduated college and met an amazing man. So I quit my hospital job to pursue my photography business because who could replace such great nanny?! I was honored to photograph their wedding last year and now this year they have a brand new baby boy. Isn't he the CUTEST?!

I have had a bunch of little babies in my studio recently. This little guy came with his 3 older siblings. Mom really wanted the froggy pose seen in the first photo below. Zachary wasn't having it at first by I finally convinced him! He was such good baby for me he even smiled at me.

Baby George is so cute. He was such a good baby for his mini newborn session a few weeks ago!! Doesn't he look cute in the little turtle outfit a family member made for him? Big sister was excellent with him. You can tell how much she loves him already. I am loving the mints and blues mom chose! The quilt is a family heirloom and was just beautiful and really made the sibling photos pop!!!

I cannot believe my little girl is going to be five already. It just seems like yesterday that she was born. She was so tiny and so sweet. She had huge brown eyes that were too big for her little face and a full head of dark reddish hair. She was my rainbow baby. She is growing into a beautiful little girl. Full of life and spunk. She gives me a run for my money most days. She always has an opinion on everything. She is intelligent and fun. The things she says and comes up with I could seriously write a book! She is our Laney Lu. She has named herself "Lulu Star" and she truly is a star. Our baby girl.

I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful couple last month. We did our session at Aullwood Garden in Englewood. It was beautiful. The location, the weather. I met this beautiful mommy-to-be and her family at the end of April when Aullwood Garden was blooming. The blue bells and flowering trees were gorgeous. I was ecstatic when Jamie arrived dressed in this beautiful maternity gown with flowers in her hair. She looked so beautiful and her daughter looked adorable even if the woodpecker did scare her. I can't wait to meet this little baby girl due in just a couple of months!

I had the honor of photographing this little bundle of joy a few weeks ago. His mommy is an x-ray tech like me! We work together at the hospital. He was about 10 days old when he came to my studio. He was such a good baby for his session. Sleepy and laid back almost the whole time. I am loving the photos of him in his Daddy's firefighting helmet.

This Frozen inspired shoot was so much fun! Jennifer from Lost and Found Vintage Rentals put together this gorgeous set and had hair and make up on site. The girls felt like true royalty! The looks on their faces when they saw themselves all dressed up with hair and make up was priceless. The set was wonderful and the blue chair just perfect! This was such a fun shoot. I loved every minute of it and I love the resulting photos of my precious girls!

I had the best maternity session back in the beginning of July! It was a different experience to do an in home lifestyle maternity session because I usually do them outdoors or in my studio. I was up for the challenge and Lauren had some awesome ideas. Lauren and her husband Jimmy, and their cats and dogs were super nice and very welcoming. I took my son Cooper (14.5 months) out the other evening for a little shoot just for him. Because it was so cold out around his birthday we only did indoor photos. I thought I would take some outdoor photos now that the weather is nice. My dad bought this vintage radio flyer roadster for Cooper to ride at their house in Columbus. While visiting the other day I asked if I could take it home with me so I could photograph Cooper with it! The bibs were borrowed from a friend of ours. They are 65 years old! Cooper wasn't exactly the most cooperative (he really didn't want to ride on the toy at all) I still think I got some really great shots though but I do have mommy goggles on!!

This was one of the quickest newborn sessions I have ever done I think! Mom and Dad were in a little bit of a hurry so we just did a couple of set ups and sent them on their way. Baby Cash did awesome. I am so glad I could capture him at this new and precious age. I LOVE that we got him all curled up on his Mommy's saddle!

This is one of my favorite maternity sessions to date! I normally do maternity sessions outdoors but because the weather was just not cooperating we decided to bring her session indoors. We rented a warehouse space for the first part of our shoot from Lost and Found Vintage Rentals and Erin, Michael, and little Knox came up to my studio for the second half. I can believe Erin is pregnant with twins! What a gorgeous mommy to be and I can't wait to meet the twins soon!!

Michael's Mom emailed me on Christmas Day. She was in town for the holidays and wanted to know if I could do a last minute newborn session! So we scheduled for the very next day. MJ was 3 weeks old but he did amazing! I love how this session went and I am loving the photos. What a sweet baby boy!

I had the pleasure of photographing Lindsey a few weeks ago. She is truly a tiny miracle baby. She was born at 25 weeks gestation in September. Weighing only a little over a pound and just the size of a dollar bill back in September she came to see me shortly after being sent home a healthy 5 pounds! She has 5 siblings at home to help take care of her. What a blessing!!
